I decided to abandon the book Sabriel because it was very boring at the beginning and I was not interested in the topic of the story. The new book that I chose was The Lightning Thief; I chose this book because it looked very interesting and I saw the commercial for the movie and liked it. One thing I really like about the book is that at the beginning something exciting happens; this prevents me from abandoning the book. Also I like that it has to do with mythological monsters and things because this topic really interests me.
